Austin City Limits Live at The Moody Theater (ACL Live) is a state-of-the-art venue that hosts approximately 100 concerts a year. It serves as the permanent home for the taping of the acclaimed KLRU-TV produced PBS series, Austin City Limits, the longest-running music series in American television history.

Cross the Congress Bridge heading south and you’ll transition to a retro-vibe of Austin. Souvenir shops, custom hats, authentic cowboy boots, and plenty of options for food & drinks are all on South Congress Street. If you have time for only one of the top 10 suggestions, this one has a little bit of it all.
West 6th Street is filled with bars with live local bands, dive bars, and mechanical bull riding. For a more relaxed vibe visit one of these cozy jazz clubs downtown:
